ABSTRACT
This
study examined the level of performance between the performance of students in
private and public schools in Ido-Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
Questionnaires were designed to collect relevant data for the study. The data
were analyzed using percentages to determine the consensus of response on the
comparison between the public and private school students’ performance in
English Language. Findings from this study revealed that the students in
private schools perform better than students in public schools in the English
Language due to some aids that enhances effective learning which are absent in
public secondary schools, like Language laboratory, effective library, teachers
instructional materials, etc.
